The Bush Inn
As you drive into Robe, you’ll notice the historic beauty of The Bush Inn. The property is surrounded by dense woodlands providing the allure of seclusion. The beautiful cottage has recently been brought back to life – and don’t let its size fool you!!
What was originally a road side inn built in 1852 and licensed in 1855 – it catered for teamsters carting wool to the Robe town port and for thirsty travelers during the gold rush. It is now offering its lucky guests a slightly more sophisticated “bed for the night”. The building has all the original stone works, rough timbers, open fireplaces, and quirky features of the past have been beautifully integrated with a designer kitchen, light filled living spaces and four fabulous bedrooms.
It really is the perfect summer escape or special winter getaway, with its close proximity to town and the beach. The historic home has generous living areas for its size, perfect for couples, families and small groups.
Fully self contained, The Bush Inn provides two bathrooms, laundry, huge open plan living and dining area, original sitting area with open fireplace, full entertainment facilities, three queen bedrooms and a fourth bunk bedroom that can sleep an additional four people.
